Good Day! I purchased a used Stradavox accordion about 6 years ago. It has pickups inside it, but I never had an interest in using them until recently. The pickups are wired to a 5-pin female DIN plug that's mounted to the accordion. I was able to trace all the wiring and draw a schematic of the circuitry. On the DIN plug, there is one lead connected to the bass pickup, one lead connected to the treble-side pickups, one lead for ground, and another lead, perhaps for power(?). I want to plug my accordion into the sound board at my church, and I'm unsure of what type of connection I'd need. I could fabricate a cable, but would need to know which pin on the 5-pin DIN plug would connect to either a 1/4" or XLR connector. Also, would the accordion pickups require power? How would I need to I don't have any documentation on the pickups, but I can provide a schematic.
I appreciate any advice/help you could give. The person from whom I purchased the instrument is out-of-town until the end of this month, and I'd like to find an answer before then.
